  8. Hi Mam,

this is arvind (B.Tech-Civil Engg.). I have gone through ur page, and found it quite helpul andfull of informations and valuable help for CSE aspirants.

I have also gone through the other UPSC topper's blogs as well. Mam, my optionals are geography and Hindil Lit (medium is Hindi. Unfortunately I did'nt find a single blog having matters like startgies, course materials etc on these two subjects.

Mam, I would be highly greatful, if you could give me link/s or mail-ids of the successful candidates/ur friends (who have done with these two subjects), so that I could connect to them and can talk for my specific queries and doubts regarding the above two subjects.

waiting for ur reply in anticipation

    thanks

    arvind

  13. Respected ma'm, I, a civil engineer, 2011 passout, am doing a job in Gurgaon. I want to take history & economics as subjects for mains. No doubt, these two subjects will help in prelims. But I doubt whether the syllabus will be vast. Again economics is my all time favorite subject. So please guide me on the preference of subjects for mains. Also I am not getting any suggestion from any IAS successor. I am thinking of taking study material from any coaching center. So please suggest me the source from where I can get some guidance about economics.

  14. Ma'am

I first wish to heartily convey you a really grand congratulation for your GRAND success.

I am ANURAG. Presently, I have enrolled myself into UG (Economics) at BJB College, Bhubaneswar.
I am an NTSE scholar, with 94% in 10th and 90 in 12th. I ALSO WANT TO BE A TOPPER LIKE YOU IN THE CSE-2014.

YOUR WORDS IN THE SUNSHINE 'RAY OF HOPE'really are very different than other toppers.
After reading them again and again, I could do nothing but felt the utmost urgency to cling on to as my role model for the rest days in my life. I was just hypnotised by your advise towards the optimism in the words on smile. I too want to grow that in me.

what should be the best for my planning and preparation in the coming three years, so that I can succeed with flying colours in CSE 2014? Please, would you be my guide?

    Awaiting from you…

From someone who direly needs you,
    ANURAG HOTA
